Part-Time Back End Developer

Hours: Up to 15 hours/week

Rate: €60–75/hour

We’re looking for a part-time Backend Developer to support and modernize backend systems within an established insurance environment. You’ll work primarily with .NET/C#, legacy enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and system integrations.

Requirements

• Strong experience with C# / .NET / .NET Core
• Experience with .NET Framework and legacy systems
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server / T-SQL skills
• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs
• Experience with SOAP, XML, and legacy integrations
• Experience with Entity Framework
• Understanding of enterprise architecture, authentication, logging, and security
• Experience maintaining and modernizing existing production systems
• Ability to write clean, reliable, and maintainable backend code
• Available up to 15 hours/week
• Immediate availability

Nice to Have

• Experience in insurance, banking, or financial services
• Azure / Azure DevOps
• Windows Services / IIS
• RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, or similar technologies
• Docker and CI/CD
• Experience with legacy system modernization
