About This Opportunity

A leading Rocky River-area accounting firm manages investments across technology, private equity, real estate, and hospitality. The team works directly with ownership to build strong financial foundations for multiple business units. This role offers stability and real growth in your accounting career, plus hands-on exposure to investment operations.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements for multiple entities including restaurants and real estate holdings.
• Reconcile accounts and process journal entries on a monthly and quarterly schedule.
• Track cash flow and spot trends that matter.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports to leadership and family stakeholders.
• Work with external tax firms to complete tax returns and filings.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
• Build budgets and create financial forecasts to support business planning.
• Take on investment accounting responsibilities as you grow in the role.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent professional accounting experience.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience, ideally managing multiple entities.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in hospitality, restaurant, or real estate accounting.
• Familiarity with family office or private equity operations.
• Experience with QuickBooks or NetSuite.
• CPA credential or CPA candidate status.
