You'll lead business development for a national real estate developer. Your job: find large construction projects from major companies, build relationships with their leaders, and turn their expansion plans into deals we execute.

You'll have real influence. The firm handles millions of square feet every year, and your deals directly shape what gets built.

A leading Streesboro-area firm is a privately held real estate developer based in the Midwest. For over 50 years, the firm has built and managed properties across 40+ states.

The firm develops about 12 million square feet every year.

What You'll Do

  • Find and pitch build-to-suit and industrial expansion projects to Fortune 500 and mid-market companies across the U.S.
  • Call corporate real estate executives, operations leaders, and C-suite decision-makers and build real relationships.
  • Spot companies planning facility expansions, relocations, manufacturing growth, or major capital investments.
  • Negotiate deal terms that get signed.
  • Take client expansion plans and turn them into tenant-backed development opportunities.
  • Hand off closed deals to internal development teams.

What You'll Need

  • 10+ years sourcing large real estate deals for developers, brokerages, or corporate real estate teams.
  • Proven track record closing industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or life sciences projects.
  • A strong national network of corporate real estate and operations contacts.
  • Working knowledge of lease structures, capital markets, and development underwriting.
  • Confidence presenting to C-suite and board-level executives.
  • Prior experience working as a developer or advisor (principal or broker side).

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Background in advanced technology or life sciences real estate.
  • Experience closing $50M+ development deals.
  • Site selection or corporate expansion consulting experience.

Work Environment

You'll be based in Streesboro, Ohio. Travel required to meet clients and partners nationwide. Remote work flexibility available after you complete onboarding.
