Sales Engineer — Metal Forming Equipment

You'll join a technical sales team that values problem-solving, customer success, and continuous learning.
What You'll Do
- Close deals by designing custom equipment solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Write technical proposals and create equipment drawings using CAD software.
- Present solutions to plant managers, engineers, and C-suite decision-makers.
- Visit customer facilities monthly to understand operations and grow existing accounts.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver solutions on time.
- Manage your sales territory, track pipeline opportunities in Salesforce (CRM), and meet monthly bookings targets.
- Travel to trade shows and customer sites to build relationships and identify new opportunities.
What You'll Need
- 3+ years in B2B sales, sales engineering, or technical sales.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong understanding of basic mechanical design and engineering principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry trade shows.
Nice-to-Haves
- Background in metal forming, manufacturing processes, or industrial equipment sales.
- Experience presenting to senior leadership and plant management teams.
- Knowledge of return on investment (ROI) analyses or technical writing.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
