About the role
Summary
This position is located with FMWR Sports, Fitness, & Aquatics on Fort Wainwright, AK. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives may be paid. Up to 25% recruitment or relocation and/or retention incentive may be paid (service agreement required). Recruitment incentives are applicable to newly hired individuals/rehired individuals. Relocation incentives are applicable to current, regular full-time NAF employees.Duties
- Develops and implements programs to accommodate wide interest for the community in both fitness and sports activities and provides specific guidance regarding development of new programs to facility managers.
- Develops Standard Operating Procedures, and memorandums regarding special sports events and coordinates equipment, facility, transportation, and other sports event administrative support needs with appropriate base operation support personnel.
- Performs the full range of supervisory duties over assigned staff.
- Coordinates budget requirements with subordinate supervisors and provides general guidance for preparation of the annual operating budget.
- Provides technical advice to subordinate managers regarding budget execution.
