Duties

• Subject matter expert and leader in veterinary medical care, providing comprehensive and high-quality animal health services to support the animal health mission readiness and public health of the military community.
• Contributes to the analysis, development, and integration of long-range strategic plans for veterinary medical services.
• Provide technical supervision and mentorship to a team of veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff at large installations
• Advises and collaborates with management team on all aspects of veterinary medical operations, including budget management, resource allocation, facility maintenance, and manpower management.
• Ensures strict adherence to all applicable DOD, state, national, and international regulations, and implements quality assurance programs.
• Prepares comprehensive reports on veterinary medical activities, program outcomes, and budget performance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
