Summary
This position is located at: Aquatics - Fort Polk, Louisiana. Our Aquatics Program offers safe, family-friendly indoor and outdoor pools with year-round recreation and instruction for Soldiers, families, and authorized patrons. Whether you want to swim laps for fitness, bring your family for a recreational swim, or learn lifesaving skills, our pools are here for you.Duties
- Acts as water safety instructor. Manages all swimming lessons and instructs when scheduled, at the assigned aquatics facility.
- Develops swim program according to students' ability and promotes students to higher level swimming according to their skills.
- Teach students from age groups of infants through adults. Instructs all levels of swimming and appropriate strokes, to include front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke, breaststroke, sidestroke and butterfly.
- Introduces and instructs safety and survival skills to students, when appropriate to level of instruction
- Responsible for money handling and maintaining internal control practice as cashier.
