About the Position: This position is located in Weed Army Community Hospital at Fort Irwin, CA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. We accept applications on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available.

Duties

• Assess and provide intervention for individuals with a wide range of chronic medical conditions, and mental health.
• Conduct outpatient group classes, stress management, relaxation training, assertive/social skills training, smoking cessation training, substance abuse identification and brief related interventions appropriate for primary care.
• Provide psychological and clinical consultation to physicians, other professionals and paraprofessionals through established consultation channels.
• Provide individual and group treatment.
• Develop treatment processes and procedures for orientation of patients.

Education
