About the role
Summary
You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the BASE LEVEL COMMUNICATIONS DIVISION (N51/N81), PLANS, PROGRAMS AND REQUIREMENTS DEPARTMENT(N5/N8) of NCTAMSLANT NORVA. This position is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.Duties
- You will work with Contracting Specialists and Contracting Officers in the selection of procurement methods and strategies in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) policies and procedures.
- You will collaborate with Base Communication Office (BCO) support teams and personnel to determine deficiencies in the service provisioning process(s) and inventory control processes and recommend process improvement initiatives.
- You will enable and develop a continuous process improvement program to increase efficiency in the department.
- You will provide recommendations regarding service acquisition methodology for follow-on contracting and financial accounting processes.
- You will serve as the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and perform technical and specific administrative functions.
- You will assist the department staff in managing the department’s Commercial Purchase card program by monitoring expenditures and ensure procurements meet spend plan and justification statements.
- You will track expenditures and perform trend analysis in preparation of the annual N5 Spend Plans and POM development.
- You will utilize Microsoft SharePoint to manage workflow of all contracts, government purchase card and unfunded requirements.
