Summary
This position is located within the Clinical Services Department of the Blackfeet Service Unit. The purpose of this position is to function as the Deputy Clinical Director. A housing subsidy of up to $1,042 per pay period may be available. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
Duties
- Total Compensation Package - Check out IHS's outstanding total compensation package for this job: Physician Total Compensation | Pay (ihs.gov) Provides direct supervision to healthcare professionals; plans work to be accomplished by subordinates and prepares schedules for the Outpatient Department Evaluates work performance of subordinates; advise or counsel employees on work and administrative matters; interview candidates for positions, recommend appointment, promotion, or reassignment to such positions; hear and resolve complaints from employees; identify training needs of employees. Interviews and examines patients, reviews past medical history, and request and/or performs diagnostic tests and examinations. Makes preliminary diagnosis, directs, prescribes or provides treatment, or arranges for specialized care or patient referral as required. Gives total patient care including prevention, health maintenance, early diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up services to patients under his/her care.
