About the Position: This position is located at WINN Military Hospital, Fort Stewart, GA. This is a Direct Hire SolicitationDuties
- Perform highly responsible duties in the advanced examination, diagnosis and treatment of inpatients for the Internal Medicine Service.
- Evaluate laboratory and clinical findings; differentiating among the various contributory causes and prescribe appropriate treatment.
- Admit and discharge patients to medical wards and step-down units as the attending physician.
- Supervise and educate students, residents, and advanced practice providers.
- Collaborate with primary care providers, consultants, and specialists to coordinate inpatient care.
- Document patient care in the electronic medical record and participate in medical staff activities.
