About the Position: This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement. We accept applications on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized.

Duties

• Conduct evaluations of Soldiers, family members, retirees, and eligible Federal civilian employees referred for consultation.
• Prepare written findings and diagnoses in a detailed, clear, and concise manner.
• Prepare treatment plans that incorporate psychological theory and counseling techniques, and goals needed to restore patients to their normal work and social environment.
• Provide strategic interventions, motivational interviewing techniques and crisis counseling for patients and families.
• Document case findings, diagnoses, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
• Apply complex behavioral health principles to conduct comprehensive behavioral health evaluations.

Education
