About the role

Our Company: Originally founded in 1975, BCI has continually evolved to become a leader in the women’s fashion industry. position: Designer

Responsibilities:

  • Sketching and creating proto and show room sample tech packs
  • Fitting protos and sending comments
  • Sketching, making CAD’s
  • Creating design boards for meetings
  • Reviewing and approving bulk trims and colors to ensure alignment with design specifications and brand standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in womenswear design
  • Strong sense of color and sketching ability
  • Must be able to create development techpacks for proto making and eventual showroom sample making
  • Excellent in multitasking and doing what it takes to meet deadlines
  • Great fashion sense that fits with the aesthetic of the brand
  • Ability to research trends that relate to the brand
  • Previous knowledge of woven tech packs and garment construction.
  • Must be able to sketch styles either by hand or have a working knowledge of Illustrator or similar program for computer sketching and CAD making
  • Must be a team player
  • Proficient computer skills

The annual salary range for this full-time role depends on experience between $75,000-$90,000.
