About the role
Summary
This position is located at the Aquatics Center on Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives may be paid. Up to 25% recruitment and/or retention incentive may be paid (service agreement required). Recruitment incentives are applicable to newly hired individuals/rehired individuals.Duties
- Performs lifeguarding duties and limited management functions.
- Ensures the safe operation of the pool, filtration system, water balance, pool chemistry and performs water test.
- Provides maximum surveillance of pool area and rescues swimmers and administers first aid as required.
- Distributes and balances work- load assuring that each employee has enough work to keep busy.
- Provides leadership, guidance and oversight in program operations.
