Summary
About the Position: This position is located at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service 1-Year Fellowship in Transfusion Medicine is preferred.Duties
- Provide transfusion medicine services.
- Oversight of blood donations and creating FDA approved blood products.
- Provide expert consultation and consults with clinicians concerning complex pathological diagnoses.
- Participate in Quality Improvement activities of the laboratory.
- Teach Physician residents.
- Provide surgical pathology, cytology, and autopsy service.
