Summary
About the Position: Serves as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Mammography) within the Defense Health Agency, and Joint Base Langley - Eustis - Langley Air Force Base. This is a Direct Hire SolicitationDuties
- Independently performs a complex and diverse array of screening and diagnostic mammography examinations.
- Performs a variety of challenging mammographic examinations with associated quality assurance and quality control measures.
- Manages patient schedules within the Medical Health System.
- Assists the Radiologist(s) and other Health Care Providers needle localizations, breast ultrasound studies and other related breast health examinations.
- Coordinates imaging for and assists the radiologist and radiology residents in the performance of image guided biopsy, pre-operative wire and seed localization, and post processing images for interpretation.
- Collects, files, and maintains documentation related to the performance of mammograms and resulting studies.
