Summary

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER - TITLE 32, Position Description Number PDD1259000 and is part of the KY MATES, National Guard.

Duties

• As a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER - TITLE 32, GS-1152-7, you will establish and implement plans, schedules, and control the maintenance and repair of a variety of vehicles and equipment. Conduct planning that pertains to production processes, mechanical skills, availability of equipment, repair parts, and other factors. Designate and maintain current maintenance repair priorities. Assist supervisors regarding readiness, CL IX funding, production problems and work planning. Provide assistance to ensure that reportable Line Item Numbers (LIN) are properly accounted for, managed, and reported. Analyze repair methods and recommend control procedures to ensure that accomplishment of programs meet priorities and deadlines. In the absence of the higher graded production controller, ensure that unit CL IX accounts are funded, budgeted, and executed to maximize readiness. Ensure necessary maintenance records are maintained and required reports are submitted to units and higher headquarters' in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements

Military Grades: E3 - E8 RANK REQUIREMENT: Member must provide in writing with their application package that they are willing to accept a reduction in rank in order to be qualified for this position, if applicable. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: You must maintain membership in the Kentucky National Guard. You must be assigned to a compatible military position. Wear of the military uniform. Position may require a pre-employment physical. May be subject to furlough actions. May be required to successfully complete a trial period. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. Must obtain and maintain a favorable adjudication of a T3 or equivalent investigation. Acceptance of a Federal position may terminate a military bonus. Acceptance of a Federal position will terminate Tricare Reserve Select (TRS) eligibility. This position is located on a tobacco free facility. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
