Recreation Aid (Developmental) NF-01/02

Summary

This position is located at: Outdoor Recreation - Fort Riley, Kansas. The Fort Riley Outdoor Recreation Program is a multi-use recreation facility with a multitude of amenities and services. This is a developmental position. After one year of satisfactory performance in the NF-01 Recreation Aid (Developmental) position, the incumbent may be eligible for non-competitive promotion to NF-02 Recreation Assistant at management's request.

Duties

• Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory. Receives and resolves customer complaints.
• Provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery.
• Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.
• Assists in planning, conducting, and arranging support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions.
• Performs other duties as assigned
