This National Guard position is for a IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN), Position Description Number D1650P01 and is part of the 174TH ATKW, National Guard. Duties

• As an IT SPEC (SYSADMIN), (GS-2210-11), you will provide information technology system support to the assigned unit. The incumbent provides systems administration support on workstations and servers using multiple operating systems. The incumbent is responsible for installing and testing the system security configuration and monitoring, operating, troubleshooting and maintaining workstation and server hardware and software. The incumbent is the primary customer support specialist for the classified systems used throughout the unit.

Education

If using education to qualify for this position: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree Graduate Education: Education at the graduate level (above a Bachelor's Degree) in an accredited college or university. Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks. You must provide Official Transcripts as documentation to support your educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
