Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Hawaii has many outdoor activities all year-round including surfing, fishing, and hiking.

Duties

  • Serve as Structural/Project Engineer for Engineering Division providing support for Military Construction Army, (MCA), Unspecified Minor Military Construction Army, (UMMCA), Repair and Maintenance (R M), Sustainment, Restoration Modernization (SRM).
  • Serve as technical specialist on structural issues/problems encountered on all projects within the Garrison.
  • Coordinate planning, design, execution, construction, and move-in activities for all projects and with all major stakeholders.
  • Manage all project scopes of work, milestones/schedules, and budgets from planning through construction to ensure the best product for the customer and the Garrison.

Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
