Summary
This position is located at the Unity Healing Center (UHC), Nashville Area Indian Health Service, Cherokee, NC. The purpose of the position is to provide nursing direction to the residential substance abuse treatment services to adolescent Native American youth in accordance with the Indian Health Service policies. . A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
Duties
- Assists with the program planning for the nursing activities. Develops Nursing policies and procedures. Participates in quality improvement activities for nursing. Participates in meeting accreditation standards. Serves on planning committees. Prepares and submits nursing reports.
