About this role

The primary job of a Graphics & Marketing Coordinator (GMC) is to produce high-quality design materials in support of the brand, communication strategies, and promotional efforts for both Impact and its clients. The GMC is also responsible for fulfilling a limited scope of marketing operations for their assigned Impact clients, such as managing digital content, event promotion, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels.

Job duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • Manage the intake, prioritization, execution, and timely delivery of graphic design requests.
    • Coordinate the production and distribution of print and digital collateral, including: magazines, flyers, brochures, logos, pamphlets, social media images, etc. This includes working closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure designs are accurate, brand-aligned and delivered on time. Must be able to prepare print files for publishers, including layouts, bleeds, and resolution checks.
    • Create and maintain layouts for multi-page publications using Adobe InDesign while ensuring consistency with client branding.
  • Support the execution of marketing initiatives for assigned clients in collaboration with internal client teams and client leadership.
    • Administer and manage email announcements through communication systems (Association Management System or third-party systems like MailChimp or Constant Contact). This may include newsletters, email campaigns, and/or press releases.
    • Coordinate marketing content calendars and publish content across the client’s platforms. Monitor and report out on engagement on these platforms.
    • Update and maintain client websites with marketing content, event information, and publications.
    • Support branding efforts by ensuring consistent voice and visual identity across all communications.
  • General administrative duties to support marketing-related activities completed on behalf of clients.
  • Proactively keep their client teams up to date on work, priorities, and progress.
  • Regularly update procedures and maintain accurate documentation for all work they complete.

Offered Pay Range: $21-$27/hour

Offered pay will be within the listed range and based on candidate work experience and experience working in the association industry and multi-client environments. Other factors considered include complementary skills or industries that are akin to Impact's, as well as certifications within the association/AMC industry. 

Requirements

To be considered for the GMC role, individuals must possess the following (with few exceptions):

  • Minimum of 2 years of graphic design and/or marketing experience
  • Advanced in Adobe Creative Cloud apps, particularly InDesign
  • Advanced in Canva and similar tools
  • Proficient with email marketing platforms and social media management tools
  • Able to be consistently available during Impact’s core work hours: 9:00am - 3:00pm Central Time. 
  • Preferred:
    • Proficient with Association Management Systems (Wild Apricot, YourMembership, MemberClicks)
    • Experience working with nonprofit organizations/associations
