<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p> <p>The Logistics Network Operations Specialist provides real-time support across Carvana's transportation and delivery network, serving as a key contact for Site Leaders and Vehicle Transporters. This role fields driver calls, resolves on-road disruptions, and partners with Internal stakeholders to protect route performance and on-time delivery. Strong candidates bring excellent communication and problem-solving skills, plus comfort with operational data and&nbsp; Google Sheets and understanding operational data .&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Serve as the first point of contact for Carvana-employed Vehicle Transporters and Advocates, providing phone support for on-road incidents as they happen</li> <li>Source and select vendors that deliver strong service while mitigating risk and downtime</li> <li>Support Logistics field teams in real time to maintain route integrity and service levels</li> <li>Monitor exceptions and conduct root cause analysis to minimize postponed deliveries</li> <li>Use multiple internal systems to gather data and troubleshoot issues that arise in transit</li> <li>Maximize outbound capacity to improve on-time delivery and reduce transit times</li> <li>Partner with Logistics Field Leadership, Fleet Maintenance, Market Operations, and Network Planning to minimize network disruptions</li> <li>Apply strong analytical and Google Sheets skills to organize and interpret operational data</li> <li>Document incidents accurately and communicate status and resolution plans to Logistics Field Leadership</li> </ul> <h3><strong style="font-size: 14px;"><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></h3> <p><strong>What the job requires:</strong></p> <p>To be able to do your job at Carvana, there are some basic requirements we want to share with you.</p> <h3><strong style="font-size: 14px;"><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></h3> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.</li> <li>2+ years of practical experience in Maintenance or Logistics.</li> <li>Experience in Logistics Operations with knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance, FMCSA, and HOS</li> <li>Ability to work as a team player and interact with customers, managers, and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner.</li> <li>Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.</li> <li>Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to work variable schedule(s) as necessary.</li> <li>Ability to commute and work out of the Tempe headquarters.</li> <li>Ability to work in an office environment, with extensive use of computers.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to sit for up to eight hours per day.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and oral.</li> </ul> <h3><strong style="font-size: 14px;"><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></h3> <p>This job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
