Duties

• You will manage the procurement, assignment, and protection of radio frequencies.
• You will prepare the engineering data for frequency, telecommunication and other Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (CSISR) matters.
• You will analyze technical data of communication systems based upon knowledge of radio equipment and radio propagation.
• You will initiate direct actions at the National or International level to eliminate conflicts in frequency assignments which arise because of the heavily congested radio frequency spectrum.
• You will perform supervisory functions for one GS-12 employee, and two military personnel.
• You will serve as senior Telecommunications Specialist for analyzing technical data of communication systems based upon knowledge of radio equipment and radio propagation.
• You will serve as the technical authority responsible for communicating the frequency assignment process to all levels of command, orally and in writing.
• You will serve as a senior Telecommunications Project Manager, and exercise centralized accountability and oversight of all project resources.
• You will participate in meetings and briefings to investigate problems, coordinate projects, and keep abreast of changes in operations, requirements, or technological advances.
