About the Position: This position is located at Bayne Jones Army Community Hospital in Fort Polk, Louisiana. This is an open continuous announcement. We accept applications on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

• Provide comprehensive health care for all ages and families in the Medical Treatment Facility.
• Obtain health history and conduct a variety of physical examinations of patients.
• Provide treatment of minor/acute and chronic conditions through use of a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Perform a variety of procedures as needed, such as skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and toenail removal, based on skill level/scope of practice of clinic.
• Manage patient treatment using a variety of therapeutic modalities to include medications, counseling, support services, and other ancillary medical supplies crutches, splits, bandages, and syringes.
• Manage chronic health problems in accordance with existing protocol.
• Prepare written or computerized, complete, accurate documentation on all patients evaluated in the clinical setting.
