Summary

About the Position: This position is with the Department of Public Works at Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA.

Duties

  • Serve as the design and construction technical lead ensuring new construction projects follow the master plan, programming documents and exterior appearance standards.
  • Responsible as the Master Planning Technical Lead for design and construction of complex major construction projects on Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) and Yakima Training Center (YTC).
  • Provide technical review of plans, designs, and specifications that are prepared by the Corps of Engineers and Architect-Engineer design firms for MCA, UMMCA, SOCOM, NAF,, and other tenant activities projects.
  • Serve as a consultant on technical planning and programming issues for matters relating to long range construction programs.
  • Develop and updates the installation Real Property Master Plan and Area Design Guides for overall community and area development.
