This role partners closely with Supply Chain Transformation, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT to help design and implement a new PLM foundation for the organization.</p> <h2 class="wnfdnti _1ibi0s33y _1ibi0s34u">About the role:</h2> <p class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">CoreWeave is seeking an experienced PLM Architect to co-lead the technical design, architecture, and implementation of a new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system across the organization. This is a high-visibility, greenfield role for someone who thrives on implementing systems from the ground up rather than maintaining what already exists.</p> <p class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">You will partner with Supply Chain Transformation, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT stakeholders to define the target-state PLM architecture, translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, guide the platform from initial design through go-live and stabilization, integrate with existing and upcoming enterprise systems, and enforce strict data governance. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in PLM platforms, strong architectural judgment, and the communication skills to align technical decisions with business strategy.</p> <p class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">In this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Co-lead end-to-end architecture and design for a new enterprise PLM system, including data model, workflow, integration, and security architecture.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Partner with business stakeholders across Transformation, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to gather requirements and translate them into a scalable, future-proof PLM architecture.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Partner with IT to define requirements and oversee integrations between the PLM system and adjacent enterprise platforms, including ERP, MES, CAD/CAM, and QMS.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Establish data governance standards, including item and part numbering schemes, BOM structures, change management workflows, and revision control practices.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Lead technical design reviews and ensure architectural decisions align with long-term scalability, performance, and maintainability goals.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Guide data migration strategy and validation from legacy systems into the new platform.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Identify opportunities for process standardization and automation across the product lifecycle.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Define and enforce PLM system standards, governance policies, and documentation practices.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Act as the primary technical escalation point during implementation, troubleshooting complex architectural or integration issues.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Mentor junior architects, analysts, and administrators on PLM best practices.</li> </ul> <h2 class="wnfdnti _1ibi0s33y _1ibi0s34u">Who You Are:</h2> <ul> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">10+ years of experience working with PLM systems, including at least 5+ years in an architect or lead technical design role.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle, new PLM system implementation, not just administration or support of an existing system.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Hands-on expertise with one or more major PLM platforms.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Strong understanding of PLM data models, including BOM management, item and part structures, change management (ECR/ECO), document control, and revision practices.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Solid grasp of data migration methodologies and legacy system decommissioning.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate between technical architecture and business needs.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Strong documentation skills, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and system design documents.</li> </ul> <h4 class="wnfdnti _1ibi0s33y _1ibi0s34u">Preferred:</h4> <ul> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Master’s degree in a relevant technical or engineering discipline.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">15+ years of experience working with PLM systems, including at least 10+ years in an architect or lead technical design role.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">PLM platform-specific certification(s).</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Familiarity with cloud-based or SaaS PLM deployments and associated architecture considerations.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Prior experience serving as a solution architect across multiple concurrent enterprise system implementations.</li> <li class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">Change management or organizational adoption experience for large-scale system rollouts.</li> </ul> <h2 class="wnfdnti _1ibi0s33y _1ibi0s34u">Wondering if you’re a good fit?</h2> <p class="wnfdntu _1ibi0s3f5 _1ibi0s3ce _1ibi0s3ea">We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams – even if you aren’t a 100% skill or experience match. The starting salary will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and the market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation.
