Summary

About the Position: This position is with the Department of Public Works located at Yakima Training Center, WA.

Duties

  • Design, initiate, administer, and participate in cultural resource surveys and excavations.
  • Consult with the Washington State Historic Preservation Officer, the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, Tribes and the Department of Interior regarding the direction of the program.
  • Prepare and/or review documentation on properties for nomination to the National Register of Historical Places
  • Provide archeological expertise in locating, inventorying, evaluating, and protecting historic properties.
  • Maintain records of compliance efforts including general information and specific information for each project.

Education
