Summary

About the Position: Incumbent will serve as Radiologic Diagnostic Technologist to perform a range of radiologic procedures from routine to complex for the Directorate of Clinical Support at Naval Clinic Annapolis & its outlying clinics. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

  • Prepare patient, explain the procedure, set up the imaging suite and equipment, prepare the contrast material for administration.
  • Independently perform a variety routine to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures.
  • Maintain flow of patients in and out of the radiology department by matching images to requests.
  • Perform radiographic examinations of the skull, chest, pelvis, spine, and abdomen, upper and lower extremities on patients.
  • Review all radiograph imaging performed in the department for diagnostic quality prior to interpretation by the radiologist.
  • Administer contrast under the supervision of the attending physician.
  • Explain the examination and instructions with the patient.

Education
