About the Position: This position is located in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Evans Army Community Hospital in Fort Carson, Colorado. Duties

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting for urgent or emergent care.
• Respond to all emergencies during the shift.
• Mentor professional and paraprofessional nursing staff.
• Take medical histories to acquire medically necessary information to assess physical and mental status of patient.
• Function as a charge nurse on a rotational basis.
• Participate in continuing education programs to update and/or maintain skills and knowledge to meet annual requirements.
