Summary
Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Facilities and Asset Management, Operational Support Facilities Division, 1 vacancy located in Buffalo, NY. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.Duties
- The Operational Support Facilities (OSF) Division oversees CBP's large, complex, and diverse frontline operations facilities for the Air and Marine Operations (AMO), the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP), and the Office of Field Operations (OFO). In this position you will serve as OFAM's representative at the Buffalo Field Office, liaising between OFAM leadership and OFO leadership and operators. This position starts at a salary of $131,525.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $170,987.00 (GS-14, Step 10). Typical duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Planning, organizing, controlling, and assessing facility management work on behalf of OFAM. Leading complex projects, defining critical quality factors, and recommending process improvements on key initiatives which improve service delivery, reduce costs, improve quality, and reduce process cycle time. Providing subject matter expertise and technical direction in project management, analysis, process improvement, and methodology for projects within the Field Office's AOR.
