Duties

• WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Biomedical Maintenance Equipment Specialist, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Determining, implementing, scheduling, and directing preventive maintenance procedures for all SNS medical equipment and maintenance-significant devices, ensuring equipment is operational, safe, and properly configured to meet healthcare standards. Overseeing and performing incoming inspection, acceptance, and testing for all medical equipment and ensuring adequate documentation for preventive maintenance, safety checks, calibration checks, and repair services. Serving as a member of the technical review panel for biomedical equipment acquisition, evaluating and selecting biomedical equipment, developing equipment specifications, and performing technical assessments of vendor proposals. Developing and providing technical training to equipment users and staff, identifies optimum storage requirements, and ensuring a constant state of readiness and rapid deployability of medical assets.

Education
