The primary purpose of this position is: Air Force Services Agency (AFSVA) focal point at a MAJCOM directs, plans, organizes, and oversees the Services' program for the MAJCOM. Responsible for formulating program goals, plans, and policies for the Services' mission at the MAJCOM.Duties
- 1. Provides oversight and direction on Service's program; plans, formulates, interprets, and implements policies and procedures to provide mission-impacting quality of life services. Plans and develops advisory and support services for the command-wide mission. 2. Represents Service's with a variety of installation and functional area of organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with a variety of high level offices. 3. Represents the organization on working groups; steering groups; or other meetings, conferences, seminars, and promotes interchange of information on requirements, capabilities, deficiencies, and technology applications of specialization. 4. Analyze current projected financial condition of bases throughout the command and evaluates their capability to meet the Services' mission. 5. Provides financial oversight and administration of the Services appropriated and non appropriated fund budget, reviewing, and advocating multi-million dollar NAF construction projects, managing long-term studies for facility implementation projects.
