INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (APPSW/DATAMGT)

Summary

Duties

• You will analyze and define system requirements, translate technical needs into practical application designs, participate in technical reviews, and ensure delivered solutions satisfy established performance and quality expectations.
• You will design application architecture, develop and maintain reliable code, create intuitive user interfaces, integrate hardware and software components, and produce clear technical documentation that supports ongoing operations.
• You will evaluate software technologies, troubleshoot technical issues, coordinate with subject matter experts, support testing activities, and help ensure applications perform reliably while meeting security and quality standards.
• You will analyze data requirements, design and implement databases, monitor performance, manage backup and recovery activities, and recommend improvements that strengthen reliability, scalability, and long term effectiveness.
• You will develop and maintain data standards, administer database policies and procedures, support data analysis and warehousing efforts, evaluate emerging database technologies, and improve overall information management capabilities.
• You will apply established information security practices throughout application and data management activities, protect the integrity of technology services, resolve technical concerns, and elevate unresolved issues through appropriate leadership.
