THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D2422000 and is part of the PA 171st Air Refueling Wing, National Guard. 1 or more Position(s) may be hired against this Announcement.

Duties

• As a TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-2130-09, you will serve as the technical transportation advisor to all statewide operating officials on all matters dealing with commercial movement of personnel and equipment. Ensure that traffic management and transportation services required to support the mission are accomplished. Inspect, or provide for inspection of, commercial carrier terminals to locate and expedite delivery of astray government shipments. Procure domestic and international travel for both military and civilian passengers. Maintain all transportation related automated systems and databases to support the Traffic Management Programs for the State. Accomplish the full spectrum of support for state and Federal National Guard operations, training, readiness missions, natural disasters, and Homeland Defense/Defense Support of Civil Authorities (HLD/DSCA). Perform other related duties as assigned.
