Summary

Start, continue, or finish your career here | VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System(youtube.com) Incumbent will be a member of the Medical Service and will participate in patient care, teaching and administrative activities as assigned. They will function as an independent physician provider, and they will provide medical care in the spectrum of their field of training and privileging and in all aspects of patient care including inpatient/outpatient care. The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties: Continuing the further development of the clinical programs. Providing evaluation and treatment for patients seen in the outpatient clinics, labs, or inpatient services as assigned. Providing patient care in the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System. The incumbent will attend in the outpatient clinics, labs, or on the inpatient services as assigned and other clinical services needed by the service line. These clinical responsibilities may include patient care activities with or without trainees. Supervising and teaching medical students, interns, residents, and fellows. Participate in process improvement/quality assurance projects and other administrative duties assigned, including section meetings. Providing expert consultation and treatment to patients in all clinical settings. Providing on-call services as assigned, usually as part of a rotation with other physicians.
