Launch Your Marketing Career with One of the Midwest's Fastest-Growing Home Improvement Brands
Are you ready to move beyond simply checking boxes and become an integral part of a marketing team that is driving real business growth?
Next Door & Window is looking for a Marketing Coordinator who is eager to learn, execute, create, and grow. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone early in their marketing career—perhaps with agency experience or a marketing internship—who wants to join an established brand with significant momentum and a clear path for advancement.
If you're someone who constantly has ideas, enjoys bringing them to life, loves creating content, and wants to see the direct impact of your work, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
As our Marketing Coordinator, you'll work directly with the Marketing Director to help execute campaigns across multiple channels while supporting a marketing operation spanning three major markets:
- Chicago
- St. Louis
- Madison
You'll help bring our brand to life through engaging content while coordinating with internal teams and external agency partners.
Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and publish engaging organic content across:
- YouTube
- Company website
- Email marketing
- Assist with content creation including photography, short-form video, graphics, reels, and promotional campaigns.
- Help maintain a consistent brand voice across all marketing channels.
- Coordinate with outside agencies, media vendors, and marketing partners.
- Support campaign execution across digital and traditional marketing initiatives.
- Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Assist with reporting, audience analysis, and campaign insights.
- Help organize marketing assets, creative requests, and project timelines.
- Stay current on marketing trends, social media best practices, and emerging content opportunities.
- Bring new ideas to the table—we value creativity, initiative, and people who aren't afraid to try something new.
- Support our Field Marketing events through set up, preparation, and working events.
What We're Looking For
We're less concerned about years of experience and more interested in finding someone who is curious, motivated, and excited to build a career in marketing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of marketing experience (agency experience is a plus)
- Experience managing or creating content for social media platforms
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
- Comfortable creating short-form social content and working behind the camera when needed
- Highly organized with excellent project management skills
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Analytical mindset with a desire to understand what makes campaigns successful
Bonus Points For Experience With
- Email marketing platforms
- Paid media (Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Google Analytics or marketing reporting tools
- Audience segmentation and campaign optimization
- SEO fundamentals
- Marketing automation platforms
- Videography / Video editing
What Makes This Role Unique
This isn't a coordinator position where you'll spend your day updating spreadsheets.
You'll be supporting a nearly eight-figure annual marketing budget while helping execute campaigns across multiple channels and three major Midwest markets. You'll gain exposure to virtually every aspect of modern marketing—from content creation and social media to paid advertising, analytics, agency management, and strategic campaign planning.
You'll work directly alongside marketing leadership, have your ideas heard, and see your work make an immediate impact.
The Kind of Person Who Thrives Here
You are:
- A doer, not just a planner.
- Someone who sees problems and brings solutions.
- Creative, but also analytical.
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats.
- Excited by fast-paced environments.
- Always looking for better ways to communicate a message.
- Motivated by growth and continuous learning.
