We partner closely with the business to enable speed, accountability, and smart decision‑making, while actively transforming how procurement works through better systems, processes, data, and engagement.</p> <p><strong><u>About the Role</u></strong></p> <p>We’re looking for a <strong>Global Sourcing &amp; Procurement Specialist </strong>to join this growing team and help support high‑impact service categories including <strong>Marketing, Sales, Brand, PR &amp; Communications, Fleet, and Service</strong>.</p> <p><strong><u>What You Own&nbsp;</u></strong></p> <p><strong>Procurement execution (P2P)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Act as a day‑to‑day procurement partner for stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Brand, Communications, and Fleet</li> <li>Own intake support, PR/PO readiness, contract routing, amendments, change orders, and invoice alignment</li> <li>Coordinate closely with <strong>Legal, Finance, and Accounts Payable</strong> to ensure contracts, POs, and invoices are accurate and processed on time</li> <li>Maintain trackers, logs, and dashboards to provide visibility into active workstreams, timelines, and risks</li> </ul> <p><strong>Sourcing &amp; contracting support (S2C)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support and lead <strong>low‑to‑mid complexity sourcing and contracting activities</strong> (generally under $100K)</li> <li>Assist with supplier negotiations, contract reviews, commercial term discussions, amendments, and execution</li> <li>Partner with Category Managers on bid support, pricing analysis, and contract close‑out</li> </ul> <p><strong>Data, insights, and communication</strong></p> <ul> <li>Track and analyze spend and procurement data using Excel and system reports</li> <li>Identify trends, gaps, and risks, and support forecasting and planning discussions</li> <li>Create <strong>clear, visual reporting tools</strong> to enable data‑driven decision‑making for stakeholders and procurement leaders</li> </ul> <p><strong>Continuous improvement &amp; transformation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve stakeholder experience</li> <li>Contribute to procurement transformation initiatives spanning <strong>tools, systems, processes, and engagement models</strong></li> <li>Help scale procurement capabilities as Lucid continues to grow</li> </ul> <p><strong>Category Strategy &amp; Supplier Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support the development and execution of category strategies for assigned spend areas.</li> <li>Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into procurement and sourcing strategies.</li> <li>Manage supplier relationships, including performance management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li> <li>Conduct market research, supplier assessments, benchmarking, and pricing analyses to identify opportunities, evaluate competitiveness, and inform sourcing decisions.</li> <li>Lead commercial negotiations for low-to-medium complexity engagements.</li> <li>Identify and execute supplier consolidation, cost savings, cost avoidance, and value creation opportunities across assigned categories.</li> <li>Support budget planning, forecasting, and annual contracting activities with business stakeholders.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>What You Bring</u></strong></p> <p>We’re looking for a motivated, hands‑on individual contributor with a strong foundation in procure‑to‑pay (P2P), practical exposure to sourcing‑to‑contract (S2C), and the ability to manage a category from end to end. This person should be comfortable owning the full procurement lifecycle—from intake, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and invoice alignment to sourcing support, supplier engagement, contracting coordination, and stakeholder communication—while helping strengthen and transform how procurement operates.</p> <p>A successful candidate:</p> <ul> <li>Is familiar with basic purchasing and accounting fundamentals and understands how procurement decisions impact budgets, payments, and financial controls</li> <li>Is analytical and comfortable working with data to organize, analyze, interpret, and translate information into clear, practical insights</li> <li>Is strong with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams, and can use them to create clear reporting, presentations, trackers, and stakeholder communications</li> <li>Can create visual tools and dashboards to communicate status, trends, risks, and insights to a variety of stakeholders</li> <li>Is curious and resourceful in using AI and automation tools to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and streamline procurement processes</li> <li>Is capable of thinking outside the box to navigate a growing and evolving set of business challenges</li> <li>Is highly organized and comfortable working across multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Is energized by transformation and wants to help modernize procurement across systems, processes, and ways of working</li> <li>Wants to be part of a team that's focused on making a real difference</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong><u>Minimum Qualifications</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field</li> <li>3-4 years of experience in <strong>Indirect Procurement</strong></li> <li>Strong foundation in <strong>S2C and P2P processes</strong></li> <li>Working knowledge of the <strong>PR → PO → Invoice</strong> lifecycle</li> <li>Experience developing and executing <strong>category strategies</strong> and <strong>category plans</strong></li> <li>Strong analytical skills, including the ability to work with data and build visual summaries</li> <li>Proficiency in <strong>Excel and PowerPoint</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with <strong>Coupa</strong> and ERP systems (<strong>SAP a plus</strong>)</li> <li>Experience supporting <strong>services categories</strong> (e.g., marketing, agencies, professional services, fleet, or similar)</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Work Requirement</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>This is a hybrid role located in Phoenix, AZ, with employees expected to work onsite four days per week and remotely one day per week.
