Summary

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Falcon Dunes Golf Course on Luke AFB. This is a Flexible position with no guaranteed hours or benefits.

Duties

  • Falcon Dunes is one of the top military golf courses in the world with breathtaking views of the majestic White Tank Mountains and unique native desert landscaping. This Gary Panks design is available for use by all military, active and retired, and government employees. Operate field-type tractors with attachments, mowers, aerators, plows, harrows, clippers, sprayers, disks, post hole diggers, moveable dozer, blades, backhoe, and other equipment ranging from small hand held applicators to tractor drawn liquid and solid dispensers. Make adjustments to equipment to ensure proper settings, connections and mechanical soundness. Observe all safety rules and regulations pertaining to vehicle operation. Perform daily tasks such as setting cups, raking bunkers, tree trimming, and debris, and trash removal. Perform gardening operation on greens, tees, fairways, roughs, clubhouse grounds area and other related areas. Mows, fertilizes, seeds, plugs, plants, prunes, trims, aerates, top-dresses, verticuts, changes cups and moves tees. Rakes and shapes bunkers, trims and cultivates plants, transplants trees and shrubs. Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
