About the Position: This position located at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital on Fort Campbell, KY in the Radiology department. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

• Performs a full range of diagnostic Computed Tomography examinations/procedures to include neurological, chest, abdominal, extremity, body and musculoskeletal.
• Performs a variety of routine and non-routine complex radiographic examinations.
• Receives, reviews and schedules requests in order of priority from physicians and other health care providers.
• Explains method of procedure to patients, positions patient, selects and sets technical factors, prepares and adjusts accessory equipment required and makes exposures necessary for the requested procedures.
• Performs post processing functions in the Picture Archival Communication System (PACS) such as to review, evaluate and orientate images prior to transmittal.
