WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR

Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer.

Duties

• You will operate a Wastewater Treatment Plant which provides the full range of treatment, including that required for meeting National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit conditions.
• You will operate comminutor or barminutor, grit removal system, splitter boxes, valves, pumps, collector systems, and primary settling tanks to move sewage and sludge through the pretreatment and primary treatment stages.
• You will perform tertiary operation functions, utilizing equipment such as chemical mixing tanks: chemical feed pumps, flocculation tanks with flocculation tanks with flocculators.
• You will perform operator maintenance on all equipment utilized by oiling, greasing, and replacing parts
• You will monitor collection system information via telemetry system and reacts to incoming alarms or notifications.
