Recreation Equipment Repairer NA-09

Summary

This position is located at This position is located at Fort Huachuca Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation: Mountain View Golf Course. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Subsequent referrals to the Hiring Manager will occur weekly. The first cut-off date for this position will be July 1st, 2026. Then every Wednesday thereafter until all positions are filled.

Duties

• Performs repair work on a variety of gas and diesel powered equipment including gas powered rental golf cars, multi-gang mowers, tractor drawn mowers, greens mowers, aerators and other mechanical equipment.
• Diagnoses malfunctions of equipment to determine the source of trouble, extent of repairs required, and the tools and parts necessary to successfully make repairs.
• Accomplishes minor engine repairs by cleaning, adjusting, and/or replacing defective parts of components and systems, including wheel cylinders, mufflers, brake shoes, carburetors, etc
• Must have the knowledge required to diagnose and determine source of malfunctions and the skill to make necessary repairs to a variety of Turf related equipment and hydraulic drive motors, their components and electrical systems.
• Must have the knowledge and skill necessary to make fabrication repairs to equipment to include using a torch and welding.
