Summary

About the Position: This position is located at Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center, Director for DMS, Department of Family Medicine at Fort Belvoir, VA. Hours of operation: Monday - Friday 0730-1630 This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Duties

• Provide primary health care on a routine and emergency basis to eligible beneficiaries enrolled in services.
• Diagnose acute and chronic illnesses.
• Develop treatment plans.
• Evaluate diagnostic studies.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within authorized privileges.
• Coordinate patient care with other team members including nursing, clerical, pharmacy, social worker, etc.
• Participate in daily huddles with the team staff.

Education
