Summary

About the Position: This position is located at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) in Bethesda, MD. The position operates within a clinical setting. Standard working hours are typically Monday through Friday, 0730 to 1600, though slight variations may occur based on clinic needs. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Duties

• Coordinate and administer diverse occupational therapy programs.
• Initiate, implement, and recommend treatment plans created by the Occupational Therapist.
• Instruct patients in a variety of exercise programs and activities of daily living.
• Make recommendations for patient's rehabilitation and reintegration needs.
• Instruct and design specific training programs for occupational therapy assistant interns.
