Start, continue, or finish your career here | VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System The Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible full-time academic Cardiologist to join our Cardiology Section, accountable to the Chief of Cardiology. The Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center is closely affiliated with the adjacent University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, and it is expected that the successful candidate will qualify for faculty appointment in the University of Colorado School of Medicine. The successful candidate will have interest, skill, and demonstrated experience in clinical care, education, and investigation. A focused interest in heart failure or advanced cardiac imaging is desirable. Duties include inpatient and outpatient consultative cardiovascular care and attending in the non invasive cardiology laboratories (echocardiography, stress testing, and/or advanced cardiac imaging); and education and supervision of Cardiovascular Disease fellows, other medical trainees, and preceptorship to advanced practice providers. The successful candidate will lead or collaborate in basic, clinical, or health services research in cardiovascular disease. VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
