Summary

This position is located at the Cannon Community Club but may fill other vacancies in the Business Recreation Division. Join our team at the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum. Duties

• Prepares and cooks a variety of food items that require simple processing, such as breakfast items, hamburgers, vegetables, soups, and sauces.
• Performs various food preparation tasks including peeling, chopping, grinding, slicing, and dicing, and accurately weighs and measures ingredients according to standardized recipes.
• Operates a range of kitchen equipment powered by gas, electricity, steam, or microwave heat sources, and is responsible for its cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and work areas, including worktables, floors, and refrigerators, adhering to established schedules and procedures.
• Ensures food is handled and stored at correct temperatures to prevent bacterial growth and follows all established sanitation protocols.
