Summary

About the Position: This announcement is intended to provide readily available applicants for hard to fill positions as they become vacant. Duties

  • Provide diagnostic evaluations, individual and group therapy, and brief evidence-based interventions within a multidisciplinary mental health clinic.
  • Assess and manage acute and chronic mental health concerns, including suicide risk, crisis presentations, and complex biopsychosocial conditions.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, command teams, and community partners to coordinate care, safety planning, and appropriate referrals.
  • Develop and document treatment goals using the “specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound” format, and maintain complete clinical records in accordance with federal, state, and hospital regulations.
  • Participate in and lead quality assurance and performance improvement activities, including reviewing clinical records, monitoring outcome measures, and evaluating clinical procedures.
  • Provide staff education, professional development, and training on mental health topics to strengthen clinical practice across the organization.
