Operations Assistant NF-02

Summary

This position is located at: FMWR - Business and Recreation Division - Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA). - Fort Hood, Texas. Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA) is a reservoir located near Fort Hood and offers patrons a vast variety of activities, including but not limited to: camping, boating, hiking, fishing, kayaking, paintball, horseback riding and mountain biking.

Duties

• Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of the operation.
• Applies knowledge of the organization, its functions and regulations to carry out a wide variety of administrative functions (e.g. personnel, accounting, budget,, purchasing, logistics and supply, transportation, security, etc.).
• Receives telephone calls and visitors, provides required information from own knowledge or office files or refers callers to appropriate person.
• Follows up as required. Types various correspondence and reports. Tabulates statistical data into final format. Gathers data and documentation for special projects and prepares briefing support materials.
• Establishes, maintains or controls files and logs.
